The First Xbox Game Pass Games of 2026 Show Xbox Is Still Fighting.

In numerous discussions, enthusiasts continue to ring the knell for the green team. Xbox was recently outsold by a relatively obscure console. Platform-specific outlets began covering on PS5 topics as a new development. The past year represented a period of total upheaval for Xbox and Microsoft. Yet, based exclusively on what's coming to Game Pass in 2026, it becomes clear that the green gaming company continues to plan to draw people in with quality releases on its key platform.

The Available Now Titles

The duo of games you can play right now at this moment, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, don't represent the biggest draws. Instead, the excitement lies in what's arriving to Game Pass in the coming weeks that's deserving of attention.

Upcoming Headline Games

On Jan. 13, the platform will add the underappreciated Star Wars Outlaws, a vast exploration title that refreshes typical Ubisoft design with an intergalactic heist adventure. Another big get is Resident Evil Village featuring the towering Lady Dimitrescu, previously described as "a superb mixture of frights and fights."

Noteworthy Smaller Games

However, the more modest titles coming to Game Pass soon are quite compelling. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, a fantastic but under-the-radar dungeon crawler that's a blast to play, becomes available next week — and it's worth experiencing even if you missed out on the first Lost in Random game.

This UK-developed survival title from last year might get its hooks in you in about 15 minutes flat.

Atomfall, the stealth survival game by the makers of Sniper Elite, is another one to watch. Game Pass Ultimate subscribers also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to get excited about.

A Robust Selection of Games

Ultimately, these aren't the most groundbreaking additions to Game Pass, and they don't represent massive exclusive blockbusters that are the sole reason for the service by themselves. But Microsoft's additions here are very dependable. There's a good mixture of older titles you may have skipped and relatively recent releases that didn't get the attention they were due initially — transforming them into perfect candidates to experience a revival on Game Pass.

Be prepared to say goodbye to The Grinch Christmas Adventures, though.
